Continuing Education

Licensees are required to complete 45 hours of continuing education (to include 24 hours of required courses and 21 hours of electives) during each 3-year cycle to renew their licenses.

Responsible brokers are required to complete 53 hours of continuing education when they renew to include:  32 hours of required courses, 8 hours of which must be the Wyoming Brokerage Management course and 21 hours of electives.

REALTOR® members are also required to complete 2 1/2 hours of instruction on the REALTORS®' Code of Ethics quadrennially.  The current cycle ends December 31, 2016.  Failure to complete training during any cycle will lead to suspension of membership for January and February immediately following the cycle deadline, with termination of membership starting March 1 after the cycle deadline.  Meeting the requirement is easy!  Members may attend the Wyoming Association of REALTORS® Ethics courses, or take an ethics course online through the  National Association of REALTORS® or the the CE Shop.  If you are a member of the Cheyenne Board of REALTORS® and don't remember the last date you completed an Ethics class,  please contact us and we'll help you determine if you've met the requirement.

Not sure how many credit hours you have earned?  Log into your account at the Wyoming Real Estate Commission to view your credit hours!
